Crusher Overview
VSI series sand making machine is the first crusher designed by our company which crush between materials and crush between materials and liners. It has two kinds of crushing chamber, "rock-on-rock" and "rock-on-anvil". "rock-on-rock" is suitable for hard materials. The sand making ratio is above 40%. "rock-on-anvil" is suitable for medium-hard materials. The sand making ratio is above 50%.
These two kinds of crushing methods can transform to each other so as to suit different materials. It is widely used for metal and non-metal ores, highways, Water conservation and hydropower, refractory material, abrasive material, ceramic and glass material, aggregate for building, sintered bauxite, magnesite. Working Principle
Rock-on-rock: material falls down from the top equably. Some enter into the high-speed impeller through distributor and pipes, and then are thrown out from the outlet of the impeller by the high-speed centrifugal force. Material which is thrown down by impellor hit the material around impeller which is parted like an umbrella by distributor. And then, the material formed vortex in the impellor and vortex chamber and are crushed after hit and frication for many times.
Rock-on-anvil: material fall down from the top equably, enter into the high-speed impeller through pipes and are thrown out from the outlet of the impeller. At last the materials are crushed by hitting the adjustable impact plate or impact bar opposite impeller in the vortex chamber.SBM Performance
Vertical shaft impact crusher is mainly consist of motor, main axis assemble, impeller, feed hopper, distributor, crushing chamber, frame and lubrication system.
1. Transmission device (including moter): as the name implies, moter and gearing are the power base of the whole sand making machine.
2. Main axis assembles: the main axis assembles is installed on the base to transfer the power of the motor from v-belt and support the rotation of the impeller. The main axis assemble is consist of axis base, main axis and axis.
3. Impeller: impeller structure is a hollow cylinder. It is installed on the axle head at the top of the main axis assemble and rotate at a high speed. Impeller is a key part of the new kind of sand making machine. The material enters into the center of the impeller from the core pipe of the distributor at the top impeller. Then the material is distributed to the shoot passage by the distributor cone in the center of the impeller. The wear plates made of special material are installed at the outlet of the shoot passage and can be changed at any time. The materials are thrown out by the impeller at an accelerated speed and crushed themselves after striking on the liner of the crushing chamber.
4. Feed hopper: feed hopper structure is an inverted prismaid and is installed with wear ring. The material from feeding equipment enters into the sand making machine through feed hopper.
5. Distributor: the distributor is installed on the top of the crushing chamber. It is used for distributing the material from feed hopper. Some material enter into the impeller directly from core pipe, are accelerated and thrown out. Some material enters into the periphery of the impeller from the outside of the core pipe and are impacted and crushed by the material thrown out by impeller. The capacity and crushing ratio are increased without more power consumption.
6. Crushing chamber: crushing chamber structure is an annular space formed by two cylinder (top cylinder and bottom cylinder). There are two holes in the cover board on the top and bottom of the bottom cylinder. The top one is connected with cylinder. The bottom one is connected with outlet. The impeller rotates in a high speed in the crushing chamber. Material liner can be formed by the material reserved in the crushing chamber. The crushing process is carried out in the chamber. The mineral liner can divide the crushing process and the surface of the chamber so that the whole crushing process is only carried out among the material because of its anti-wear and rock lining characters. The peep hole is installed on the top cylinder to inspect the condition of the impeller wear plate and the liner condition on the top of the chamber. The peep hole must be closed while working. The distributor is set up on the top cylinder. Self circulation system is formed by the airflow of the high-speed impeller through distributor and impeller in the crushing chamber.
7. Base: the crushing chamber, main axis assembly, motor and transmission device are installed on the base. There is a quadrangular prism in the center of the base for the installation of main axis assembly. The dumping passages are formed at both sides of the quadrangular prism.
8. Support: the support can be installed or not according to the site the crusher works in.
9. Lubrication system: The oil cup can be diverted outside of the machine at the top and bottom shaft of the main axis assembly which make the oiling and maintenance easier.VSI Crusher Data
